Grammybear:  Raising guide dogs is a wonderful thing to do! It was very hard for us to find a nice retirement community in FLorida that accepts large (over 40 lbs) dogs. When I discovered TV, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. We'll never be without two dogs, so I understand your concerns. There are tons of dog lovers on TOTV, and there is even a leash-free dog park which is only $25 a month for two dogs. The Pet Section of TOTV has tons of good dog information.
