We had guests in town two weeks ago & ate at City Fire in Brownwood. The food was acceptable, but OMG!!! The server & service was TERRiBLE!!! Ok...Granted it was extremely busy...but:

1. I ordered the tuna poke. Then asked for a side of bread. The waiter (a young guy) told me the tuna poke comes with toasted garlic bread. So I said ok no side of bread needed. When our food was delivered to the table they brought me a chicken parm. Duh!!! No one at our table ordered that. The waiter came back & said he thought I wanted a chicken parm. No...I said. Please bring the tuna poke. Ok. Guess what when the bill came they charged us for the chicken parm, which was about $4.00 more than the tuna. My daughter ordered a white wine...they brought a red wine. The dumbah waiter acted like that was our mistake. No it wasnt't. Wait there is more. Wrong beer for my husband. Also I had a coupon for a free house wine with a food order. Knowing that this waiter didn't know whether he was pitching or catching, I purposely didn't order another wine. Guess what they still charged for my "free" wine. Then...my son-in-law told the waiter two times to bring him the check. You guessed it...at the end of the meal the waiter asked if we wanted two separate checks. Their service was one goof-up after another. What a jerk. I think waiters are supposed to listen to the patrons requests. Holy Cow!!! Very stressful.
