You can go on the internet and get the phone numbers for all the medical plans in this area. You can also call 1.800.MEDICARE. Call all of them and ask you, to send their literature.
There is United Healthcare, BC/BS aka Florida Blue, Humana. Almost all Medical
Advantage Plans are almost equal, but there are slight differences, that you need to see, what plan would suit you best. They all charged $104.90 for the Part B premium, per month, assuming you not in the higher income bracket.
There are one or two plans that people were able to keep, that are very inexpensive, Less than $104.90. Still, you need to check what plan covers what benefits, that may be more beneficial to you.
For instance, I switched from UHC to BC/BS Florida bue Lifetime HMO and i don't pay a penny for the presriptions i take. I just filled a prscription yesterday that UHC would have required a co-payment of $135. My plan, zero.
Sorry, there is no simple answer for medical coverage. You have to decide what is best for you.
