Most patrons don't mind the wait because they love the patio and the view. However there are those who accept the First Available or specify the patio and 20 minutes into their wait time quoted begin to get inpatient. All of us employed in the country clubs work very hard to seat the patrons as quickly as possible. What I have experienced lately is people becoming angry about waiting. Again we try to seat all our patrons in a timely manner and adhere to our quoted time frames. In the past few weeks I have been called stupid, sworn at and had menus tossed at me. I love the residents of The Villages but I don't understand this behavior and again it is a select few.

I agree. We've been here 14 years. We know when it's season and you don't want to wait, go a little earlier or take the first available. We like to get to some places a little earlier, put our names in and then go enjoy a drink at the bar. Life is too short to get upset.
