I have a sidewalk in front of my home but people still allow their dogs in my yard. I love dogs but don't have one because I don't want to clean up dog crap. Many people are considerate and keep their dogs on a short leash but others are just rude. There are a certain few people who use the leash that extends and they don't pay any attention to where the dog is or what it is doing. I have asked a few people nice to keep the dog on the sidewalk and I was told that I was an old grouch by one and another told me to mind my own business. I thought I was since he was standing in MY yard at the time. Like anything, there are always some people who can't follow the rules or respect others property.
