Thank you Jimbo for posting this. As a advocate for stopping horse slaughter, several years ago, I became aware of the horrid reality of animal agriculture. I wonder how many will read the above in its entirety. But they should. It perfectly demonstrates so vividly how we grow up in a dichotomy of conflicting ideas i.e. loving our dog or cat or other pet and yet blocking out the hamburger or hotdog, or pork chop going in our mouth. Most will avoid reading it because they aren't ready to pony up the obvious response but even if they make small changes, it is progress. Every big changes is begun with a small change/
