Hy:

I think that in the central Fla area hurricane insurance is not a big expense - it was included in our homeowners policy that had a reasonable premium. $500 Hurricane deductable for a premium under $650 (just checked)($300K Liability).

Wish I could buy earthquake insurance in the SF Bay Area for twice that.
