These were minimum wage jobs, filled by residents who loved their jobs and took them very seriously. Then, in the interest of saving money (I guess) these jobs were eliminated amid a great deal of consternation by the residents.
This would be a subject to bring up at your next district meeing and find out if these jobs could be brought back a decade later.
