Now you have given me a reason to think about a traditional screen/storm door versus a rolling door.My front door is recessed and has a substantial overhang so , unless it is facing the direction of the storms I don't think the weather impact would be substantial. However, if the weather is cool, I could have the main door open and the storm door would be some protection with the glass up. Food for thought. Isn't that what this forum is all about !! :
