Hi there. As you can see from the title, my mom is moving in tomorrow to the Village of Collier. (She is not tech savvy, so I have to help her with the posts) She just retired from her job of 30 years, sold her house of 36 years, and is starting a new chapter of her life, basically from scratch. I live in Pensacola, and am usually 6 hours away. She doesn't know a soul and I'm here for a few days, helping her move in. I'm looking for some inside info to help her get started. 1) She needs to apply for Medicare. Where does she go to do this? 2) Names of good General Practitioners and Dermatologists 3) A good place to buy a mattress that won't take advantage of her.
