The remediation work was listed at a value of $70,000 on each permit to repair sinkhole damage to these homes. The question that is open for discussion is whether the repairs were successful. I have asked about this but never been able to find out the outcome. I was wondering if any one knows what the outcome was at these homes. Also would like to know if anyone knows what people purchasing homes near these homes were told about it.

It must have worked, both houses have sold. The Village Realtors would be required to disclose the sinkhole and repairs. They were both nice Designer homes and the one on the corner was discounted nicely, and just recently sold (based on the windows having owners names and a big "sold" written on them). When we bought our house South of Pinellas, our Insurance agent told us about it, not sure about TV alerting the neighbors in the area, but the local pool had daily discussions about it for a while. Does that help answer any of your questions? You seem to be posting lots of sinkhole related topics lately, and never respond back. Just curious, are you trying to incite fear, give TV a bad name, or just inform folks? I'm curious as to the motive for all the sinkhole threads you have started.
