Please walk facing traffic
One of my greatest peeves in the villages are pedestrians walking our roads and cart paths with traffic behind them. I witnessed a few days ago a villager walking with traffic on a cart path and almost stumbled into the path of an oncoming electric golf cart. I also stopped a grandparent with two small children walking with traffic on a golf cart path. I suggested nicely that it would be safer if they would walk facing traffic. She thanked me indignantly. I'm surprised to learn that their are still people of our generation who don't know how to walk safely on our roads and walkways.
