[QUOTE=Jayhawk;877899]Yes, they were in business before April 18, but they were NOT in business 7 months earlier when the email you posted to support your position was originally written. Probably just an oversight on your part.

Now that is a fact. At your suggestion, I verified it

Maybe now you can verify they (still) don't have a permit as Wildwood hasn't even met to decide whether to issue them or not...and the permit has to come from Wildwood.

Still say all is OK, maybe another oversight.

Square 1 Burgers & Bar wants to offer “doggie dining” on the patio of the new restaurant in Pinellas Plaza in The Villages.
To do so, the restaurant must first persuade the Wildwood City Commission to approve an ordinance permitting dogs to dine alongside restaurant patrons.
It would be a first in the city of Wildwood.
“I don’t understand it, but I know it’s getting popular,” said Wildwood Mayor Ed Wolf.
The idea of an ordinance was presented to commissioners Monday night by Jason McHugh, Wildwood’s development services coordinator.
He said it is his understanding that other Square 1 Burgers locations offer doggie dining, including a special menu for canines.
The commissioners were open to the idea of an ordinance and will consider the measure at a future meeting.
