What more details do you need?
I
Keep my garage and all doors shut as I have experienced a rat snake get in and crawl under the fridge then somehow got behind the cupboards. I called animal control and they tried to get it but at 5 pm said it was time to go home! Put a pail with something heavy on it he told me and left.
Well I stuffed wet towels along my very closed bedroom door that night, got up in the morning and ate breakfast in the restaurant! When I got back there was the rat snake curled up beside my patio door. I climbed up on the kitchen counter took a broom and finally got the patio door open and it slithered out.
Now the doors are always closed or at least the screens across.

Yes I know rat snakes are not poisonous but they can grow over 6 feet. Even a litter racer snake scares me. Outside is where they belong.
