I agree JustJim! Many seniors have short fuses instead of enjoying the lifestyle here in The Villages.

I rented a golf cart from The Villages Yamaha Store for two friends of ours who were visiting for a couple of days. I GPS'ed the cart and top speed was just under 18MPH. My friends were given the finger and told to "F" off. So much for Florida's Friendliest Town.

Another one of my pet peeves is when someone is trying to pass me out when his golf cart's top speed is 1 MPH faster than mine. Actually, it is not a pet peeve, just a source of amusement when he is in the car lane for a half a mile struggling to get around me, and his blood pressure is of the charts, only to get to the town square 3-5 seconds faster than me. The people that are getting upset are those driving cars that are backed up behind him waiting for Speedy to get out of the way.
