Lynn, I have an idea that you might want to try and I'm sure you would get a lot of replies from interested smokers: Start a
Smoker's Club.
There used to be an office at La Hacienda where you could get an application to start a new club. It's easy and they advertize it to see how many would be interested. You would need a certain minimum number of people. You would be assigned a meeting room -no smoking- but you would be able to discuss with other smokers where you might go to smoke and play cards etc.. Then the room might come in handy to plan and discuss other future smoking events.
