I woke up this morning around 5:15 and decided to go outside to possibly see the meteor shower.

I took my folding chair and went outside to the fairway right in back of my home. The moon was a crescent shape and very bright, stars were out, a few crickets chirping (could have been my tinnitus, though), and a mockingbird singing. No meteors but it was really a perfect time to just enjoy being in such a great place as The Villages.
