Default Low water pressure

First bypass the water softener.There should be a shutoff at the intake and output.Test the water pressure.If the water pressure is better the water softener is the issue.
Next check your main water shutoff,should be in the garage.Turn it off and then on making sure it is fully open.Believe it or not but this fixed my low pressure problem.I guess that the shutoff was not fully open.
