That is one of our favorite restaurants. And it's not mobbed in the winter like TV restos.
Their shrimp & grits are amazing. My husband likes their chicken tacos. Everything on the menu sounds wonderful, but I can't get past the shrimp & grits. Their menu has a New Orleans flare.
And, it is in the most wonderful old, old converted drugstore, with the old-fashioned, original small octagonal tiles on the floor with design. A delightful place; glad to hear about the crab cakes.

It's located in the town square, which I didn't even know existed in Ocala until we took a rug over to a store there to be cleaned. On Saturdays there is a farmers' market.
