I know it's just June, but since you didn't know Ocala even had a square, file this away for December - Ocala's town square is transformed into something quite magical for Christmas. I've lived in Los Angeles and DC, and I've never seen anything quite as impressive as Ocala at Christmastime. It's like Las Vegas' Fremont Street without the slot machines
Indulge yourself with a horse-drawn carriage ride. It's definitely worth the short drive - you won't regret it!
