We received the phone call this morning that our house closed in The Villages and we are now officially Villagers! We can't wait to make the move (I'll be down on June 14, my husband will come down a week or less later) soon. Our new home is in Lake Deaton. I'm looking forward to meeting people in person that I've met on TOTV and other new people as well. The friendliness of so many people in The Villages was a major factor in deciding to make the move. We will miss the people up here in Ohio but not the winter weather. When people ask why we want to move to Florida, my line is always, "You don't have to shovel the sun!" Thanks for all the great advice we've received here. I would highly recommend TOTV as a great resource for those people who are considering moving to The Villages. See you all soon!
