I'm against cruelty to any animal, but I find it saddening that not one person has the opinion that perhaps he was bitten by the squirrel. This says much about you folks who only see one side and take a complete strangers word about what happened.
I would want the other side told before passing judgement...which you are all very quick to do...*sigh*
