I called one of the well known group of cardiologist in Ocala, and they are terminating their agreement July1st also. This throws up a red flag regarding PUP insurance. I hope I'm wrong!

I was informed yesterday by my primary care Dr. that P.U.P (Physicians United Plan) HMO is insolvent and the State of FL is shutting them down on July 1st. They were my medical insurance as well and I'm in the process of finding another insurer.
I contacted medicare and they confirmed that P.U.P will not be available after July 1 and that I have 2 months to find a new insurer. During that time I will be covered by Original Medicare.
What a bummer, I've been with P.U.P for a year and a half and they've always provided decent service.
