Default Why the wide open border, nobody turned away policy?

I really do hope this thread survives because like me there must be many others who have no idea why this is being allowed to happen:

There obviously must be something I do not know or appreciate about why!?

Where do they live? who houses them? feeds them? Schools them? What are their rights? Where does the money come from? Am I the only one who thinks this is also an open door for every criminal/terrorist or someone who will do us harm?

I would appreciate being enlightened without the subject deteriorating to the point it is cancelled. It is a legitimate issue that will in fact affect all of us in the not too distant future. Just do a math birth projection on the hundreds of thousands being allowed in.
