Don't plan on watching any television or doing much else. Forget taking a nap no time. Every night when we got home we were dead. Watched the news and went to bed. Fran is correct your ID will get you into everything just like a resident. Go into the rec centers look around, play billiards, swim in the pools, enjoy. The Villages staff are friendly and will assist with anything. Being new to the villages we are still asking how to do this and that. The great thing about TV is everyone has been through what you are about to go through, they know and will assist you with a smile. Get a recreation schedule and visit some of the meetings. We visited the woodworking shop and they welcomed us with open arms. They also asked my wife to come in. They did give us a tour, but due to safety concerns they do not let you use the equipment until you complete a safety program and have been checked out on the various tools.
