Default What are some old favorite slang terms or localisms you don't hear anymore?

One person "got a charge out of" my post using the adjective "skanky" on another thread. In the 70s and 80s, we reserved that term for only the sleaziest of the sleaze.

What are some slang words or expressions people said decades ago but we don't hear anymore?

I think it's fun to hear a new, juicy term you've never heard before but in context, you know exactly what it means.

Let's hear some of yours.
