We don't know what demons this woman is battling, but it is no longer a private problem. It isn't funny to her family or to her partner's family. They are suffering terribly.
Maybe being kept away from alcohol for a time will help her get started on the right path.

I love you, Gracie, but I have to disagree with you on this one. It
is a private problem, unless we keep feeding the news media frenzy by carrying it forward. It's not going to affect sales in TV, and if anyone thinks poorly of us because of the drunk drivers, break-ins, meth producers, drug dealers and public illegal displays of private parts, well... that's their problem. We know who we are, and I frankly don't care what anyone else thinks of TVs. Let them laugh all they want. As Joe says, I would not let them rent space in my head.
I am very thankful that life's circumstances has landed me with a great husband and a good family in a sound financial situation. I feel sorry for this woman and hope she gets the help she needs.
