I bought a resale in Duval...and I'm happy here, but if I had to do it again I would have looked in some of the older areas like Alhambra for all the reasons 2BNTV listed. Although my villa is newer and geographically in the center of the Villages..its a hike to get to the big box stores and even the closest grocery stores aren't that close here.
