Whenever we have been to Quebec I always ordered poitine which is a dish of french fries, cheese curds, and brown gravy. It's wonderful if you like that kind of dish but contains many calories. However, I thought that I would never again taste poitine until we visited my son, daughter in law, and grandchildren in Atlanta. We went to a jewish delicatesion for dinner and low and behold they had poitine as an appetizer. Of course I ordered it and it was enough for a meal by itself. However, they changed the recipe a little bit by including pastrami pieces. I shared some of it with my family and they seemed to like it.

Can't wait to go back to Atlanta except for the fact that every time we come back from there we have colds, thanx grandkids.
