Good movie about people trying to make the best of things in horrible circumstances. You do wonder why more Germans did not speak out about Hitler. This shows if they did they would soon find themselves in the same circumstances of anyone the fascists labelled as undesirable to the Third Reich. Also shows what happens to a small village's people when deranged people run that country's government.
I missed seeing this at the Rialto or wherever it had been playing here in the Villages. It is quite a steal at Redbox for $1.28.
The lead actress looks like she will have a brilliant future if acting is what she wants to do.
