I used to take The Villages Van as we are in Fernandina and there would not be many stops at others houses before hitting the road or for drop off. But now it is impossible not just because of the village stops which isn't really too much of a delay but they also make stops outside the Villages. This means that when you get in the van, you can get off the highway in Leesburg and toodle about and by the time you get to the destination, it is far longer than had you just taken the villages.net.
It happened to me twice, off the highway in Leesburg somewhere for 1/2 hour!, and I stopped using them. A friend took them recently and told me it took them 2 1/2 hours from the airport. It's too bad because I liked their service but you just can't count on how long it will take.
