In my opinion, the waitress should of followed the rules in regards to amount, and taken the bottle in back and finished it off herself.......

You are kidding right? Nobody said anything about a steak, nobody said a darned thing about missing half their fries. It was a tiny, measly bit of wine in the bottom of the bottle. It was either pour it out or pour it in a customer's glass. The server should be commended for using common sense.
