No one knows if the waitress was written up but I'm willing to bet she was. My daughter worked at this OG for quite awhile and the managers do write up employees for extremely petty things. This IS corporate policy so I'm not sure what good it would do to complain to HQ. speaking to the manager is not a bad idea. At least then there would be confirmation as to whether the server actually received any sort of reprimand.
I once was waiting for my daughter, sitting at a back booth eating dinner. When Jess got off work, she sat with me while I finished eating (perfectly allowable). Someone actually complained that a server was sitting down rather than working. To say I was irate was a serious understatement. It would be so nice if people would worry less about others and more about their own behavior.
