The pygmy rattlesnake is very common in the tall grasses on golf courses or next to ponds or marshes. It is not a deadly bite but will sure enough put you in a whole lot of pain and medical bills.
Coral snakes have been sighted in The Villages but quite rare.
Lots of black racers, king snakes, ribbon snakes, garter snakes, etc which are all GOOD to have around if you do not want the dreaded mice or palm rats in your attic or garage.

I see one at my house I would call a corn snake. Very nice colors on it.
