I just got home from Brownwood MVP, I go about 4 or 5 days a week. We do the monthly membership rate which is locked in for life. For a couple the main member is $59 per month and $43 for the associate member. That's $102 per month plus $7 tax, so every month my credit card is charged $109 on the first of the month, I never see a bill. There is a small one time membership fee for paying monthly, it's discounted now to about $75 for two. You can also put your membership on hold once per year.

If you want to pay just once a year, it's $1059 plus tax for two members but the rate is not locked in for life, but there is no membership fee.

The summer special right now is $159 for three months, which otherwise it would be 3 x $59 = $177, so you save a little, I'm not sure if the initiation fee is waived. Stop in at the desk and they can let you know.

If you walk in off the street and ask to try out the place, they'll give you a 3 days pass. If a member (such as myself) were to give your a referral card, then you get a 7 day pass and I get a $5 month credit for as long as your a member. Yesterday was customer appreciation day, I could bring any friend to any of my classes. That might still be going on this week, I'm not sure.

Here's the Brownwood location.
