I agree with MikeV and others . I'm on oxygen 24/7 and can hardly walk . When I see someone come out of the store with 2-3 bags of food with a sprint I wonder if that person is really handy caped.
In some states it's a felony for a doctor to sign an application for a permit knowing the person doesn't really need it.

Well said. I have no doubt that thousands of Villagers that
do not use the handicap system would qualify to do so. Sad thing is, there are 1000's that
use it that do not qualify. Like so many well intended programs this one is a wonderful and needed program, unfortunately it is poorly enforced, therefore, highly abused. If you qualify, yet leave the spot open for more needy that you, I stand and salute you.
If you abuse the system for your own selfish desires, well, let's just say you do not deserve my respect.
