A local church is really only a reflection of the people running it at the time. I have heard a lot of good things about many churches in and near the Villages and doubt if they care what your ideas are about abortion, "socialism" as described by some Fox stations, or other matters. I would give the New Covenant United Methodist Church a look see. New Covenant United Methodist Church Also the Catholic Church in Wildwood. http://www.sumtercatholic.org/home.html

My younger brother would often go to this Summerfield Church. http://villageviewchurch.com/

This one may be a good fit??? http://www.uufmc.org/ http://www.uufmc.org/aboutus.html

One thing. Take it slow with expressing your opinions about various things when going into unfamiliar places. That applies to TOTV too. I do see you signed up in 2008 however so maybe you already know when to open up and when not to???
