All churches I know of including my own certainly agree that the poor and needy should be helped. It is the healthy and lazy that need to get to church and help their families and the rest of the world. I have always liked the parable of the talents.

Keep an open mind. You will find almost all those things in all churches and the opposite too. There is only one person we have power over and that is ourselves.

May you find a church home if that is what you are searching for. You will find love and hate too, in almost all institutional churches.

I have tried many churches elsewhere and the opposite of what I wanted was Uu and unity, both of which I had fairly extensive involvement in, but they may be what you are looking for.
