Hi Joan

I'm glad you are liking your invisible fence and it's working for you. We moved from a fenced courtyard villa to a house. I was very worried about fencing, and what impact invisible fencing would have on our two happy hounds.

We used Dog Watch (352-351-3642). We trained our dogs for a week before the fence was activated. Dog Watch was very, very helpful during the training week, and in alleviating any concerns we had. We have been very happy with the results.

Of course dogs still need to be supervised at all times. Animals can still enter your yard. We have a lot of predators in Florida, and they could easily carry off a small dog. And our 70 lb dog could possibly be enticed to chase ducks or a squirrel. It hasn't happened in four years, but I'm not taking any chances.
