Thanks. I read in one of the Google hits that this does not work for this problem. The guy I am working with on this problem tried one of the other fixed and it seems to have worked. I will be going over there tomorrow (7/22) to verify that all is well. I will post the fix that was used.
This is not a normal Microsoft password check. It is coming from some other program.
