The best is Hill's BBQ & Catering from Gainesville (they chg a $50 travel fee) they bring their grills & cookers and cook on site. We once lived in Gainesville and used them on my husband's job site. When we moved here and needed a caterer for our Buttonwood social club, I called. We have used them many times. We have had them come and grill burgers & hotdogs, all the fixings, baked beans, slaw and desserts along with sweet tea, unsweet tea and lemonade, all paper products, ice, and they do clean up. We have also used them at our annual luau's, where we serve whole pigs, pulled pork, brisket, salad bar, veggie kabobs, loaded potato casserole, boneless skinless chicken breast w/pineapple, cole slaw, dinner rolls, chocolate cream and coconut cream pies, banana pudding, brownies, peach & blackberry cobbler. We also had them do our holiday party last year where we had Turkey & dressing w/gravy, ham, beef tenderloin, mashed potato, sweet potatoes, salad bar, green beans/ almonds, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls, 5 different desserts, drinks.
I have also had them come to my neighborhood and do a fish fry for 50 of our friends.
The food is excellent, fresh, hot, they are continually bringing in food. We priced our holiday dinner in the area and no-one could match their prices. You will never run short of food, there will be tons of leftovers which they will pack up for you. We have done groups from 50 - 400.
They do have a website and their # is 352-376-8072. They are a Christian family owned business. No I'm not related but I would recommend them completely.
