It is an easy name but the password is the kicker. I have had two Comcast modems and both the name and password are different. I do not think the name means a thing. It is the password that is the important thing if you have WiFi PCs attached.
I usually write the network name and password down before I install the modem. It is much easier to read when it is in your hand.
For better security, you can go into the modem after you install it and block the broadcast of the SSCPID. That way no one in the receiving area knows you are there.
Unfortunately if you block the SSCPID, your Kindle cannot find the network.
