To clarify, to avoid using my telephone wiring, I should like CenturyLink to connect outside to my cable wiring (where the DirecTV dish used to connect) and I shall connect my modem inside to my cable wiring. Basically, I'll just be using the two wires in the coax instead of two of the wires in the telephone cabling.
