Could not have said it better. One other item that is causing us issues is some of that oil money comes back to the US in the form of support for anti energy independence and support for those who oppose drilling. All you have to do is look at who benefits the most from the US not becoming more energy independent.

Approve the Keystone pipeline now. Canada will sell that oil to China if we don't resolve this issue.

I am for supporting every type of energy out there. Wind, solar, nuclear, gas, oil, tides, any and all. But what you never do is penalize one form to try to force use of another. That is just plain stupid. But, that's what comes from our great leaders today.
