My friends in MI left their very hairy Keeshund in the car one day. It was 70 degrees out, so they thought he would be okay. Someone in the parking lot called the police. The cop really chewed my friends out. They were ticked! I was secretly glad. I hope they'll never do it again, but I'm sure they became defensive enough to convince themselves they did nothing wrong.
