When I started renting our brand new home (an Iris) in 2012, the prospective renters wanted a custom master closet. They had used Create More Space before and recommended them.

The closet design was done by email as Mom and I were already back in Michigan. I love tinkering with floor plans and designs and had already designed several closets in our Michigan home -- including Mom's master closet.

I told their rep what I wanted in the closet -- basically, a side for each person with lots of space for shoes! Our closet goes to about a foot from the ceiling which is great for suitcases or seldom used items. I also wanted a clothes rod to put out clothes for the next day. The rep emailed me the drafts and I tweaked them with my ideas and emailed them back to them. I signed off on the final design by email. I can't remember if they emailed me photos of the finished product or if the photos were sent by my property manager.

I wasn't disappointed when I finally got to see the closet. Its beautiful. I can't wait to do the other closets in our home.

BTW, because I rent out our home as a long term rental, I could put the closet on my taxes as a rental expense. My tax person pro-rates the closet over a seven year period. So, its a win for both the renters and for me. And, the closet will be there for me when I finally get to move to TV.
