Time flies so fast when you having fun, that I missed my one year anniversary of my purchase of my home. It was August 6, 2013 but I didn't start moving in, until the 9th.
Was renting since May 1, 2013 and it allowed me the luxury of moving in, at a leisurely pace. I also just had a toothbrush, with me.
