Something really funny happened with me today. I bought a new television for the bedroom which was a replacement for an old television (the kind with the big back and a picture tube).

I called the trash pickup guy and was told they would pick it up tomorrow morning and I should have the old tv out on the curb at 6am.

We took it to the curb around 3:45 this afternoon; I looked outside around an hour later - it was gone! Someone had actually taken an old television in the middle of the afternoon. Naturally, I do not care who or why it was taken.

I have seen other things outside like chairs or tables to be taken - but an old style television that the Salvation Army told me they would not take!

It's the old story . . .
