My uroligst said Dr Clifford saved my life by insisting on the digital exam. If i were still in Michigan i would not have a clue that the cancer was present, and when it finally had symtoms, it would be to late. Thank God for Dr Clifford's insistance during my physical. Note: My MD in Michigan never advised me on a digital exam since my psa tests were in the normal range. I am looking forward to surgery (only to get rid of the cancer), and hope to enjoy the villages for a long time.
First of all, I am not a doctor. But I hope you have looked into the other treatments for prostate cancer, such as proton therapy. Obviously, it all depends on your situation, but I felt compelled to say something about the other alternatives.
