Maybe, just maybe, it might get some people to stop playing make-believe and realize that bad things can happen anywhere. Even here.
On the TOTV these folks have decided that any trash along the roadways is thrown there by renters or visiting children... never by anybody who actually lives here full-time.
The only rude and inconsiderate people here are the snowbirds.
All burglaries are committed by the landscaping or construction people. Actually, these supposed burglaries don't actually even happen; these are just rumors started by somebody who hates the Villages for some unknown reason. Perhaps a resident of some other community.

Keep your doors locked when not in use. Same for windows. Why in the world do people leave their garage doors open when they go somewhere?
The Villages is better than most... but some folks need waking up.
